Jana Goode gestaltet ihre Bilder realistisch mit einer Neigung zum Impressionismus und ist bestrebt, die Energie, das Licht und ein Gefühl vom Dasein an ihr Publikum zu vermitteln.
Sie zeichnet und malt seit sie sich erinnern kann. 1996 absolvierte sie die School of Fine Art in Presov in der Slowakei, woher sie stammt. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in Ausstellungen auf der Rennbahn in Baden-Baden 2010-2012 und Saarbrücken gezeigt und ab 2014 steht auch hier in der Artothek Landstuhl eine kleine Auswahl der Bilder zur Verfügung. Viele ihrer Werke sind auch bei ihr zuhause zu besichtigen. Jana Goode ist 1977 geboren und lebt zurzeit in Rheinland-Pfalz. Momentan studiert sie Psychologie und Kunstgeschichte an der Universität von Maryland (UMUC).

Stellungnahme Künstlerin:
"Meine grösste Inspiration für die Gestaltung ist das Leben selbst. Es sind die Farben, die sich in meinem Motiv wiederspiegeln und die Energie, die davon ausgeht. Meine Arbeiten sind naturalistische Darstellungen von Tieren, Blumen und Orten, die ich mal besucht habe. Oft finde ich alleine das Subjekt faszinierend, oft ist es draufstrahlendes Licht, das meinem Motiv die Form verleiht. Pferde sind wohl mein Lieblingsmotiv, weil sie soviel Eleganz und Energie ausstrahlen.
Da ist auch eine gewisse "Power" dahinter. Mein bevorzugtes Medium ist Aquarell und Öl, aber ich genieße auch andere Techniken, besonders Kohle und Graphit.
Das Schönste am Gestalten ist für mich, dass wir herausbringen, was wir sehen: manchmal zu idealistisch, manchmal wird das Motiv einfach schöner gemacht. Die Kunst ist eine wunderbare Weise, durch die man eigene Gefühle ans Publikum vermitteln kann."

Jana Goode creates her art realistically with allusion of impressionism and her goal is to transfer the energy, the light and the feeling of being there to her viewers. She paints and draws since she can remember. From 1985- 1996 she was a student of School of Fine Arts in Presov, in her native country Slovakia. Her works were exhibited at the race tracks in Baden- Baden and Saarbruecken. From January 2014 the Artothek in Landstuhl offers small selection of her paintings for rent. Jana was born in 1977 and lives in Rheinland-Pfalz. Currently she is studying psychology and art history at the University of Maryland (UMUC).

Artist statment:
"My greatest inspiration to create is the life itself. It is the subject reflecting colors and emitting energy. Most of my works depict nature; animals, flowers or seascapes. Quite often I’m inspired by subject alone, sometimes it is ray of light falling upon it. I try to capture the moment that inspired me to paint in the first place. Many of my favorite works portray horses. They emit so much energy, but are gentle and elegant at the same time. I can safely say if I like the subject I will paint it.
The nice thing in the whole process of creation is that we paint as we see and sometimes idealize, or bring out the beauty in the subject. For me the art is a great way to unwind and convey the feelings to other people."
